Melissa Sotudeh Receives FPA 2020 Planner of the Year Award
When Halpern Financial’s Rockville team overheard Melissa say, “Wow… thank you, I’m so honored!” on the phone one day, we knew something was up.
As it turned out, the call was from the Financial Planning Association. Melissa Sotudeh, our Director of Advisory Services, is the FPA’s 2020 Planner of the Year!This award recognizes a financial planner who has had a positive impact in his or her firm, the professional community, and the local community. These planners are people who mentor others and provide cutting-edge financial planning techniques to their clients. Each year, the FPA awards committee selects the person who best embodies these qualities from a pool of individuals who have been nominated by their peers. Melissa is the 20th recipient of the award since its inception.
Anyone who has met Melissa knows her positive energy stays with you all day long. As a Certified Financial PlannerTM professional and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary, she has a high degree of expertise, plus boundless enthusiasm for new initiatives in the firm. She has helped foster a culture that emphasizes the team and celebrates the successes of all.
